Body Language!!

What do you think your body language says about you?

Not sure eh!!

Take a look in the mirror...do you stand up tall, straight back, chest out...looking the WORLD in the eye!....or are you the rounded shoulder type, constantly head down, never making eye contact???

I know in my business Body Language is probably one of the MOST important things that I can teach to my students and clients....how they control there twitches and movements could make all the difference to a fight or flight situation!

So next time you walk past a shop window, walk tall and look CONFIDENT!!

The POWER of Communication!

Good Morning!

Well its morning here in Marbella and a BEAUTIFUL morning it is as well!

I got up quite handy today, considering im on my second week off from teaching at my academy, I have to tell you that I have REALLY enjoyed the rest and have managed to get some other work done that I had planned to do for a while, which is great! It got me thinking about the POWER TO COMMUNICATE with others so I made a determined effort to communicate with as many people as I could.

Its been pretty weird not seeing all of my students this week and I know they will be looking forward to getting back to training next week but in the meantime I have sent out emails, posted on youtube and even added more people to my network of friends on Twitter but I have missed the genuine feedback that you get that you can only get when your face to face with someone, the smile, the body language, the pat on the back for doing a good job.

Communication is so much easier now with technology but standing in front of someone and feeling the warmth of a smile is priceless and far more genuine than words on computer screen.

Hard to believe we have been out of there for 3 years now, its been really good to look over the photos again, isnt technology ace!

The new dojo here in Marbella has been going for almost 3 years as well and has gone from strength to strength thanks to the family spirit we have here, great place to be, train, and just meet all the staff and have a look around.

Had some really good memories of that place and only wished that it was still running but life moves on and we now have a more modern place here in Marbella...(plus the weathers a bit nicer!!) and the students are just as good and motivated as ever!!
