Monday Morning!!

Surfing the net over the weekend "as you do" and went on to ebay to look for a book I want called the one minute cure, its basically about how hydrogen peroxide is the next wonder cure for all illnesses but as I'm into all that stuff I wanted to buy a copy!

I found the book and then decided to do some research on what it had to offer and what was the basis of its research, I wont bore you with all the details as you may not be such an anorak like me! but suffice to say I gathered everything I wanted and then decided to buy the product, not the book but the actual hydrogen peroxide with all the little additives to go with it.

I searched ebay once more and found a seller on there with the exact products so I sent him/her an email to ask a couple of questions about the product and the shipping costs. One thing i was curious of was the shipping of the actual hydrogen peroxide, so off went my email with the usual, thanks for your time and effort in replying, many thanks, Carl.

My reply came back something like this!

Hi (no name, although I had clearly put it in at the end of the message)

Look at the website (link)

name of the company.

Not even a link to the shipping page, just the home page of the site, which was just a jumble of everything! That wouldn't have put me off as much but the customer service or just plain courteousness was all wrong!

I thought that if I treated my customers like that I wouldn't have a business, now maybe this business owner was just to busy to put my name and possibly a thanks at the end (I'm being sarcastic there!!) so hence to say he/she didn't get my custom.

At Kudo Academies we all try very hard to please everyone who either calls me on the phone, sends an email or just calls into the academy, I'm not saying we get it right 100% of the time but we try really hard!!

In the position I am in (I cant call it a job as its more a way of life) I work at leading by example, in everything I do, again, Im not saying I get it right all of the time but I remind myself every morning that not only am I lucky to be alive but also I have a great bunch of people around me who also think the same way as I do!!

Lead by example! Give it a try and see what results you get either with your clients, your students or even your friends, so much peer pressure on kids nowadays to be "the same" as everyone else! Be yourself!

Carl
