It makes you think!!

I posted this quote on my facebook page a few days ago and got so many responses from it I thought I would write a short blog about what I meant.

I am in a very lucky position, I live in Marbella, Spain, its a lovely part of the world, however you have to choose your friends wisely as we get to meet so many people and not all of them are what they seem! The martial arts academy is very busy at the moment and well to sum it up...life is good!

From time to time we get clients who come in like a whirlwind and have done it all before and how they can help you to bring in more people and they have 50 friends who want to join TOMORROW!!!....yep, we have all heard it before..and you have to take it with a pinch of salt or you can be daft enough to listen! That`s your choice!!

But then you get friends who you hold in high regard and even trust them with certain information and they too can just easily let you down, where do you draw the line?? YES, we can get rid of the people who we dont want around but does that mean that they have to conform to your way of thinking, acting, etc, etc!?!? NO! Relationships are a wonderful thing and we do have to think about inviting people into our personal lives but we can also be professional, in whatever capacity and just accept that this person has different values than us and it is not like we have to live with them!!

Take a look around you, do you have everyone you need, are there people there that drag you down, always negative never supportive?? Your choice!
