My sincere apologies for not blogging sooner! however I cant apologise too much....I mean its not like Ive had much time to be honest!! Soz...
OK, where do I start....we found out that Oxegeino was closing down a couple of weeks ago, but not even the members thought it would close down the same week!! Really poor customer service and a total lack of respect for everyone involved, not great! BUT for us it put the final touches on three of our classes, the morning class on a Mon-Wed-Fri is fully booked now, CANNOT believe it!! we've been open 7 weeks and we have 5 full classes. We have started to take names for maybe a couple of new classes we would like to introduce soon.
The students are really coming on leaps and bounds and we have some great guys training here now. The difference in some of the adults has been outstanding from when they first started. The kids are just finding there feet with the whole discipline thing but I'm glad they are embracing it.
Kerri was on the Hannah Murray show on Friday, I think she had stage fright as she only said a few words, they were great words of course!!....... but just a few of them. Really strange thing, why is it us scousers put on a posh voice whenever we talk to someone new, especially when the other person is quite posh???? I didn't even recognise Kerri at first..... the old telephone voice scenario!
We had Mathew, a student, paint the seven virtues on the walls of the Dojo last week, looks great and the kids LOVE them!
The new UPV doors for the front entrance came on Thursday and it totally transformed the front, the sign for the outside came as well, Manuel and Roberta have done a fantastic job on the graphics, however a few people have said I look like Phil Mitchel from Eastenders on the photos!!
Had a phone call from my pal Colin Jones from Nippon UK last week, must have been on the phone for 40 minutes, even then I don't think we managed to get a full sentence in each!! He has so many good ideas on his business and I find him inspiring to talk to as it follows onto my business, we have said many times we would love to work together some day...who knows!!
My mate James "the stud" Woods from Inside Out Health dropped in for herbal tea this week, he is having a really good reaction to his magazine, and no wonder...it is very good! Hi missus is due to give birth in seven weeks time and they are so looking forward to it. Ive told him to get all the sleep he can!
I can keep going on but my fingers are starting to ache!! I told you it has been busy!!!
Until next time, Carl.
