Crazy week!

The pop up banners where delivered and look great! The design for the website is looking good, I know its taken an age and in fact should have been done a couple of weeks ago but I started to give out my business cards and I have had several lessons booked in and have found it difficult to get out of the Dojo. On top of that I still need to Tile the ladies bathroom, its half done but needs some attention!

I have booked 2 private lessons in today while we were on Elvira beach and have had to refuse one as I didn't have the time they wanted! I hate having to do that but the clients from last week have booked in again and have stressed they want to keep the regular time slot. I will obviously try to get them in at some point soon. People get in to a habit of training on certain days and times and I knew this would be a first come served basis and it seems to be happening already.

We have gone over the timetable yesterday and today and I think we are nearly there, I will be publishing it next week with prices.

Had a great meeting with Manuel, my designer, going over the marketing plan and the best route to take us forward. He then came down for a lesson on the Friday with Roberta and his web designer also called Manuel. We had such a laugh and it didn't seem like a lesson as we are friends and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Just as I like it!!

We are so close to opening and the mood in the Dojo between all of us is one of excitement and a bit of "cant believe we are here in Marbella and in such a great location with great facilities" I remember when I moved out of living at home with my mum on a council estate in Liverpool into the Waterloo Docks, a really upmarket apartment in the city centre. It was a converted warehouse set in the newly refurbished docklands in Liverpool with 24 hour security with views across the waterfront, it was a dream come true!! but i kept thinking someone was going to turn up and tell me it was all a dream that would turn into a nightmare and that I had to move back to the estate in fact I had a fob that would let me through the gates and one day the battery had gone and I thought this is it...I'm gone, out of here!! It took a while just to settle in a believe that I had achieved all of this and more importantly deserved it!! Sort of have the same feeling being here, but I believe this is going to work!! I just cant believe how lucky I am, doing a job I love in a place that feels like home! Gotta go, until next time....
